GALVAN, RESORT SPRING SUMMER 22

Pre-Fall & Autumn/Winter 2023 evokes the golden age of disco — a cataclysmic moment not only for music but for fashion. Galvan draws on the late seventies as a melting pot of cultural influences and sartorial flare. From bold jewel-toned sequin separates to bold slash bodices and metallic plissé suits, each piece is scored with the energy and vibrancy of the New York and Paris club scenes and compels us to dance. The campaign‘s concept is aligned with the spirit of the 70s and its disco era, akin to the collection. We bring the ecstasy of iconic club nights into the present. We enter Club Galvan. For the video campaign, a stage comprised of three scenes was created, each embodying a well known location within a club.

The Purple Room serves as a synonym for the warming up phase of the club night. The cast, consisting of two professional dancers, prepares for the upcoming surge of energy. Following this, the models step onto a walk of lights, illuminated solely by round spots that echo the symmetrical circular motif used in the collection‘s development. As the final act, we arrive on the dancefloor. Through the dancers‘ ecstatic and bold movements, energy is unleashed and conveyed to the audience in the form of powerful confidence that the dresses bestow upon the protagonists.
